According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are looking at venturing back into film together. They’ve been looking a scripts, trying to find the perfect new joint project.

One script they particularly like is a crime thriller based on Audrey Hepburn’s 1967 Wait Until Dark. Audrey starred as a blind woman who was stalked by Alan Arkin.

The Chicago Sun-Times claims that the update would involve MK and Ashley starring as blind twins. I think MK and Ashley are looking at scripts–perhaps separately, together or for DualStar–but the girls have been adamant that their dual-acting career is over.

According to the New York Post, all that fighting between Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen is over. Both girls are in Paris for Fashion Week and the pair have been inseparable since arriving. They went to Regine, a nightclub, for a Fashion week party and source say the two were having a blast.

“They arrived holding hands and were totally inseparable all night,” one source claimed. “They mostly stuck together but chatted a bit with Kate Bosworth, Jessica Stam and Lauren Davis.”

Since I didn’t really believe all the fighting rumors, I’m taking this “make-up” with a grain of salt. However, the girls haven’t been seen together very much, so it’s nice to hear about them hanging out together!

Don’t worry! Both Ashley’s relationship with actor Justin Bartha and Mary-Kate’s relationship with artist Nate Lowman are going strong. Ashley and Justin have been spotted on both coasts and in Las Vegas enjoying each other’s company, and MK and Nate are currently hitting the Fashion week circuit in Europe.

However, Star is reporting that MK and Ash have a small boy problem on their hand–Nate and Justin can’t stand each other!

Justin thinks Nate is a flake, while Nate thinks Justin is stuck-up. MK and Ashley brought the boys together last month on a couple double dates and they apparently butted heads all night, arguing about everything.

“All their discussions end up in arguments,” Star’s source claims. “Justin and Nate just don’t see eye-to-eye on anything.”

While I don’t take anything Star says seriously, I can see strong personality differences between Justin and Nate. That doesn’t mean they hate each other though!

According to the New York Post, Heath Ledger’s insurance company is refusing to pay up because he died under “suspicious circumstances.” Additionally, they want to talk to Mary-Kate Olsen to better understand his death.

Since Heath’s entire estate is being willed to his daughter Matilda, a lawyer representing her estate is suing ReliaStar Life Insurance Co for their inappropriate actions.

This whole story is quite sad. A little girl lost her father, his death was ruled accidental, but the insurance company is holding out. As for speaking to Mary-Kate–if the federal investigators couldn’t get to her, I highly doubt an insurance company will.

David Katzenberg, who Mary-Kate Olsen dated in 2003/04, is rumored to have gotten engaged to girlfriend Nicky Hilton and the two are planning a winter wedding!

“They are thinking about a December or January wedding,” a source told Star magazine. “They want it to take place after the Christian and Jewish holidays.”

This rumor has yet to be confirmed, but if it’s true. I’m happy for the couple! They’ve been together for over two years and David and MK are currently on good terms. I’m sure she’ll send them good wishes!

While Mary-Kate Olsen is hanging out in LA–she was spotted at the Chateau Marmont on September 20 and the Villa Lounge later that same evening–sister Ashley Olsen was spotted dancing the night away in Vegas with boyfriend Justin Bartha.

Ashley and Justin were seen having a romantic dinner at Stack. According to E Online, the pair dined on “shared yellowtail sashimi, spicy wings and black cod miso lettuce cups.”

After dinner, they headed over to popular nightclub Jet with several friends.

The couple wasn’t shy about their PDA. Quite a few onlookers spotted the pair on the dance floor and said they seemed to be having a good time!

It’s been a long time since both Ashley and MK have had happy, stable relationships. Both girls seem to be in good places personally right now!

The big tabloid story about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen this week is that Ashley has asked Mary-Kate to step back from her professional duties at their high-end line The Row until her personal life is more together.

“Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously,” a source tells In Touch. “MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”

The source goes on to say that while they conceived The Row together, it’s become increasingly difficult for Ashley to deal with MK’s personal life and how it affects their work. Supposedly, MK will turn solely to Elizabeth & James–the line MK was more involved in than Ashley anyways.

From the beginning, MK and Ashley have been up-front with the fact that The Row is more Ashley’s project and Elizabeth & James is more MK’s. They’ve also been upfront with the fact that they are growing apart as they grow older–not a big deal. I think this is In Touch’s way to try to make magazine sales out of nothing.

We’ve heard this story before, but apparently it’s gotten worse. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s New York neighbors are not happy about living near the girls, Page Six reports. Their high levels of security make living in the same building as them disruptive.

“They are disruptive, intrusive and totally disrespectful,” one source said. Another called them “spoiled brats.”

The girls are renting a two-floor brownstone on West 13th. A lot of other celebrities live in the same area–including Sarah Jessica Parker, Gisele Bundchen and Liv Tyler-but according to residents, it’s only the Olsens who disrupt the neighborhood with their rampant security.

I love MK and Ashley’s rep’s response to this, when Page Six called and asked.

“If there were significant issues, you would think that the neighbors would address Ashley or Mary-Kate directly, rather than calling the media,” she said.

So true!

According to the NY Daily News, Mary-Kate Olsen had put n a special request to sit between Gossip Girl stars Chace Crawford and Jessica Szohr, who play Nate and Vanessa, at the Rock & Republic fashion show earlier this week.

“We had to move a bunch of people just to make her request work,” their source claimed. “At least she smiled in the front row.”

I hope MK made this request because she loves Gossip Girl as much as I do!

Katie Holmes was spotted entering Ashley Olsen’s Manhattan office yesterday afternoon. She was supposedly there to talk about MK and Ashley’s high-end fashion line, the Row.

Faded Youth Blog made the speculation that they are in negotiations for Katie to star in the Row’s next look book. Their last look book featured fashion legend Laura Hutton, and the one before that featured the Olsens’ younger sister Taylor, so anything is possible.
