Mary-Kate Olsen Out & About in NYC
July 22, 2009 by Erin Balser
Mary-Kate Olsen is currently in New York City. The paparazzi caught her leaving Barney’s loaded up with purchases on July 18th. I can post the photos here, but you can check them out at the Fashion Spot.
The more I look at the look, the more I like it. The sweatpants are an interesting take on the harem pant look and the Miu Miu flats are adorable.

Mary-Kate & Nate’s Coffee Date
May 15, 2009 by Erin Balser
Mary-Kate Olsen and her boyfriend Nate Lowman were spotted grabbing coffee on Thursday morning. Later that day, MK would be seen at LAX airport with her sister, Ashley. Mary-Kate and Nate seemed to be in a rush – I guess MK was trying to get to the airport! – and MK appeared a bit put off by the cameras.
Mary-Kate looked quirky and cute in her motorcycle boots, leather jacket and Indiana Jones-inspired hat! I recently bought this faux leather jacket because I’ve been liking MK’s leather look for a while! Admitting this makes me feel a little silly!

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen at Bungalow 8
May 8, 2009 by Erin Balser
After attending the Costume Institute Gala this Monday night, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen hit the after-party at Bungalow 8, one of their favorite New York City nightspots. Ashley’s boyfriend Justin Bartha joined the girls there too.
Ashley and Justin didn’t change from their Gala wear. I hope Ash took good care of her pristine white dress! Can you imagine going to a nightclub wearing that? I sure can’t!
Mary-Kate changed out of her vintage LaCroix dress. I don’t blame her. While the dress was beautiful, I’m sure it’s not the best thing to be wearing for a fun night out!

Mary-Kate Olsen at the Costume Institute Gala
May 5, 2009 by Erin Balser
Mary-Kate Olsen opted for period glamour as she donned Lacroix at last night’s Costume Institute Gala. The dress, adorned in metallic lace and silver-embroidered bustier-basque, was definitely a bold move and I think MK pulled it off.
This year’s theme was “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion”, which celebrated the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibit of the same name. The exhibit celebrates the role of the model in fashion, as a model, a muse and more. It’s supposed to be spectacular, so if you’re in New York any time soon, be sure to check it out.

Ashley Olsen at the Costume Institute Gala
May 5, 2009 by Erin Balser
Ashley Olsen looked positively regal at last night’s Costume Institute Gala. She stepped out in a long white dress that was very demure in the front, but had a sexy and dramatic back. Ashley walked the red carpet with her boyfriend Justin Bartha, who cleaned up nicely in a tuxedo!

Ashley Olsen at the Cartier 100th Anniversary Party
May 2, 2009 by Erin Balser
Ashley Olsen was one of several celebrities who came out last night to attend the Cartier 100th Anniversary Party. The party was held at Cartier’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue. Every attendee left with a bright red goodie bag. I wonder what is in them?!
Cartier, a french jeweller founded in 1847, was celebrating its 100th anniversary in America. They want all out with a swanky, star-studded party! I’m disappointed Ashley didn’t walk the red carpet pre-party, but am glad we caught a glimpse of her outfit as she left.
Other attendees included Anne Hathaway, Demi Moore, Eva Mendes, Kate …read more

Mary-Kate Olsen at Tribeca Film Festival Awards
May 1, 2009 by Erin Balser
Mary-Kate Olsen did some jury duty yesterday as she presented at the Tribeca Film Festival Awards Night party. Mary-Kate was joined on stage by Debra Messing and the two of them unveiled the winner for the category they judged, Best Narrative Short.
The 2009 winner of Best Narrative Short was The North Road (La route du Nord),, a film by Carlos Chahine from France.
“We ultimately chose the winner for its poetic, truthful and unsentimental portrait of an exile’s return home to deal with his father’s death 20 years earlier,” the jury said in a statement. “The director, Carlos Chahine, portrays the …read more
