Lauren Conrad wears Elizabeth and James so much, I’m beginning to think this blog is about her! I think Lauren looks great here, pairing the plaid button back shirt with skinny cuffed jeans and heels.

Three times Lauren Conrads has worn Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s contemporary sportswear line Elizabeth & James out on the town and three times she has looked fabulous.

This time, Lauren chose the flapper-inspired Ribbon Net Tank Dress to wear to Intermix’s VH1’s Rock Honors VIP Party on July 11.

I think Lauren looks great. Her style is really evolving.

Nicole Richie isn’t the only starlet spotted out and about in Elizabeth and James recently. On May 8th, Lauren Conrad was wearing the line around New York City.

I know that Mary-Kate and Ashley are friends with both Nicole and Lauren. Do you think that Nicole and Lauren are wearing the line to give it promotion and credibility? Or are they wearing it because it’s a genuinely awesome line and the fact their pals designed it is incidental?

In a recent interview, Lauren Conrad mentioned that she is a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s style.

Here is what she said to the Chicago Sun-Times:

I’ve always loved the way Ashley Olsen dresses. I love the Olsen twin style. They really will try everything. These girls don’t follow a trend. They set their own trends. Anyone can open a magazine and dress the way they tell you to dress. It takes time to create your own style and the Olsens are brave and take risks. I take risks, too, wearing my clothes on the show. I’ve worn the entire line.

I love the Hills, but I think Lauren’s style doesn’t compare to MK and Ash’s! What do you think?
