John Stamos is no longer working on a remake of Full House, E! Online reports. Without the participation of Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen, Stamos couldn’t generate enough interest to get the deal off the ground.

“We couldn’t make the deal,” a source, who was working on the project, told E!. “It’s completely dead right now.”

In all honesty, I’m not that disappointed. It would have been really fun to watch, but how could the project been brought together cohesively?

Bob Saget is busy doing comedy and narrating How I Met Your Mother, Lori Loughlin is working on 90210, and the Olsens had no interest in participating; they’re becoming legitimate superstars in the fashion world and MK is gaining credibility in the acting one. I think participating in this remake would have negatively affected both these parts of their career.

Jodie Sweetin, who costarred with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on Full House, and recently gave birth to baby Zoie, is currently on the prowl to star in her own reality television show.

“We’re going to start shooting in a couple months,” Jodie revealed to People recently. “We are in talks with a couple of networks right now. We have one picked out, but nothing is signed yet.”

Jodie said she and her husband are into the idea because they want to show the world the “other side of celebrity.”

“It was one of those things where we were like, ‘Wow. Let’s totally do it,’” she said. “I think it’s sort of a fun way to show the other side of celebrity and a sort of semi-normal life.”

I love Jodie and think she’s great, but I don’t qualify her level of celebrity as anything significant. It’s probably even lower on the scale than Denise Richards. I might watch it, but there would need to be a really strong hook in order to keep me watching.

Now a reality show about MK and Ashley’s life–that’s a show I’d watch!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s former Full House co-star Jodie Sweetin had a baby girl on Saturday afternoon.

Named Zoie, she was delivered by C-section and weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs.

“Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie,” a rep for Jodie told People.

Jodie is married to set designer Cody Herpin.

I wonder if MK and Ash will ever visit baby Zoie.

I know that this is only sort of relevant, but Jodie Sweetin was absolutely glowing at the release party for ‘The Hot Mom To Be Handbook: Womb With A View’ by Jessica Denay on April 2, 2008 at Pea in the Pod in Beverly Hills.

Jodie is nearly nine months pregnant. I’m so excited for her!

Even though she got married in Las Vegas, Jodie Sweetin’s wedding wasn’t a quickie. Instead, it was a small, quiet ceremony with only her family and closest friends.

“We wanted to keep it quiet,” she said to People. “We came to Vegas to get married. We had a bunch of friends come down after we got married to celebrate with us.”

“[We] have been friends for a really long time and became really serious around Memorial Day and started talking about getting married.”

Jodie is hoping this marriage isn’t her last though. “In a year or so we’re going to have bigger ceremony for family and friends,” she says. “We don’t know where yet.”

She knows she made the right decision. “Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn’t ask for anything more. He’s an unbelievable person,” she said.

According to People, Jodie Sweetin, who played Mary-Kate and Ashley’s television sister Stephanie Tanner on Full House got married in Las Vegas last weekend.

Former Full House star Jodie Sweetin has tied the knot in Las Vegas, according to a marriage certificate filed in Nevada.

The 25-year-old actress and Cody Herpin, 30, exchanged vows last Saturday at the Little Church of the West on the Vegas Strip, according to the certificate from the Clark County recorder’s office, as first reported by CelebTV.com.

A rep for Sweetin was not immediately available for comment.

This is the second marriage for Sweetin, who was once married to a Los Angeles police officer.

Last year, Sweetin admitted that she once had a daily methamphetamine habit, which started after Full House came to an end in 1995.

More recently, she returned to the spotlight as host of the Fuse TV show Pants-Off Dance-Off, which features people stripping to their favorite music video. “I want to really get back out there and get to be myself,” she told PEOPLE last September.
