Pictures: Ashley Olsen at CFDA Awards

Ashley Olsen looked stunning as she arrived at the CFDA Awards in a men’s style tuxedo from the Resort 2009 Chanel collection. It’s definitely a brave fashion choice, but a sweet one. Yves Saint Laurent passed away this week, and Ash is clearly paying homage to his Le Smoking Suit.
Ashley spent most of the evening with one of her fashion inspirations, Lauren Hutton. Lauren Hutton was the model for the Spring 2008 The Row Look Book and did a photo spread with Mary-Kate for her Harper’s Bazaar cover.
Mary-Kate didn’t attend the event. All the tabloids have been reporting she’s been having a rough time lately. While I tend to take those reports with a grain of salt, I do hope she’s okay and it’s just other commitments that kept her away.

Get Mary-Kate Olsen’s Look

Style Phox loved Mary-Kate Olsen’s make-up at the CFDA Awards so much, they put together a how-to guide for us!

I love Mary-Kate Olsen’s makeup at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York! She kept the colors neutral but definitely noticeable enough to make her face pop–brown eye shadow, light pink lips, and a gorgeous tan! I really like how these colors can go great with any outfit, and really bring out her sweet, feminine side! Here’s how you can get her look:
1. Sweep MAC Eye Shadow in Wedge [$14] all over top lid for a cool, soft brown.
2. Sweep MAC Eye Shadow in Saddle [$14], a more golden brown, into the crease to add more depth.
3. Draw a line on the lower inner rim with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Bourbon [$15]. This liner is brown with a hint of glitter, and will stay put all day!
4. For gorgeous, super long lashes, sweep two coats of Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara in Very Black [$7.49]. This mascara will not clump at all, and give you fluttery, defined lashes!5. Sweep Stila Cheek Color in Rose [$16] on apples of cheeks for a soft, rosy pink glow.
6. Sweep Sephora Bronzer Powder SPF 15 in Riviera [$15] all over cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin for a bronze color that will protect you from the sun!
7. Complete the look with Vincent Longo Lipstain Lipstick SPF 15 in Nolita [$23] for pretty, pale pink lips that will stay smooth and soft all day!
I think Mary-Kate looked fantastic at the event. Thanks to Style Phox for this great guide!

There were so many photos taken of the girls last night, I decided to break it up into three posts: the girls together, then Ashley by herself and Mary-Kate by herself. And I haven’t even included all the photos!
