The most recent issue of Star (the one with Tori Spelling on the cover) has a hilarious story about Mary-Kate and Ashley inside. Apparently, the girls are racing to the altar and are competing over not only who is going to be married first, but whose wedding is going to be the best!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are long-time supporters of Christopher Bailey, the creative director for Burberry. So much so that it’s rumored the ladies will be attending London Fashion Week and will sit front row at Burberry Spring 2010!

Mary-Kate and Ashley have really downplayed their presence at fashion weeks in the past few years. I believe this is because they want to focus the attention they receive towards their designs and not their status as fashion icons.

September is a big month for magazines, so they try to pull out all the stops by getting big names on their covers. WWD is reporting that Ashley Olsen may be Marie Claire’s cover girl of choice for the September 2009 issue!

This would be Ashley’s second Marie Claire cover, as she was the cover girl in September 2007.
I hope this rumor is true! Marie Claire has done a great job of getting big names featured in their magazines – Fergie is on the August 2009 cover!

The ever-reliable Star magazine is reporting that Ashley Olsen and Justin Bartha got engaged during their Paris vacation.
The July 20th issue (the one with Michael Jackson’s kids on the cover with the headline “Inside Their Shattered World”) reports that Justin spontaneously popped the question over a romantic dinner one night. The proposal was so impromptu that he didn’t even have a ring.

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Ashley Olsen and her boyfriend Justin Bartha are moving in together. Ashley’s Hancock Park home is through with renovations and Justin has had keys for a while. Now that the renovations are complete, she asked Justin to move in-permanently.

Fox News is reporting that some fur companies are so sick of PETA constantly harassing Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen that they are doing something about it. An unnamed fur company in Alaska has been sending the girls free furs in an effort to keep them fashion-forward and fur-friendly.

Page Six is reporting that Ashley Olsen’s friends are worried about her new relationship with National Treasure star Justin Bartha.
“He’s a little bit psycho-y,” a source told the paper. “He’s a really cute, nice guy, but he was always jumping out of the shot when [ex-girlfriend] Lydia Hearst was getting photographed.”
