I’m really excited about the latest candids of Ashley Olsen. Both Ashley and Mary-Kate have been laying low since the holidays and any opportunity to see them is exciting!
Anyways, a new feature here at MKAshley will be “Look for Less.” I’m going to do my best to pull together looks inspired by Mk and Ashley, but at a price we all can afford! Please suggest products, outfits or anything that will make this experiment a success!

Ashley Olsen has a footwear collection almost any girl would die to have. So much so that the National Examiner named her the sixth best heeled gal of 2008.
Mary-Kate didn’t make the list because of she’s less discriminating about what goes on her feet and has been seen in flip-flops in downtown Los Angeles more than once.
The Examiner took in account choice of brand, overall look and appropriateness of the footwear choice for each occasion when compiling their list.
Rounding out the top ten were Jessica Alba, Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller and Katie Holmes.

It’s no surprise Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen share clothes. They both have great sense of style, are the same size and have plenty of garments to go around. However, it’s always fun to see it when it happens.
This week, MK wore a red leopard print Louis Vuitton scarf to a screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Ashley Olsen showed off the Row in small presentations this week at NYC Fashion Week. Unfortunately, cameras weren’t allowed at the event so there hasn’t been any pictures of the new pieces

I didn’t know Ashley Olsen has a stylist! But she does! In Style caught Ash sneaking into the Miss Sixty show (Ash was avoiding the photographers) with “her stylist, Cristina Ehrlich.”
I did some digging and found this info from a 2006 article from Style it Online:

Christina Ehrlich, along with design partner Estee Stanley, have dressed the likes of Mandy Moore, the Olsen Twins, Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz, Demi Moore and Salma Hayek. Michael Kors, judge on the awesome television show Project Runway dishes in this mini-interview about size labels and his fashion icon faves. He mentions Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen pretty late in the video, but it’s worth it!

In a recent interview, Lauren Conrad mentioned that she is a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s style.
Here is what she said to the Chicago Sun-Times:

I’ve always loved the way Ashley Olsen dresses. I love the Olsen twin style. They really will try everything. These girls don’t follow a trend. They set their own trends.
