Mary-Kate or Ashley: Queen(s) to Be?

Marilyn over at Marilyn’s Royal Blog wrote a funny list of suggestions of potential brides for the newly single Prince William. On the list? Mary-Kate and Ashley of course!

Marilyn writes:

I still maintain that it would be useful to have a bride with a twin sister. When he wants a change, he could swap them out. But if I were him I’d choose the cleaner looking of the two, Mary-Kate.

She has a good point — twins are always fun (I wish I had one)– but I do think she’s got the girls mixed up! Ashley always looks sleek and polished to me, whereas MK is usually rocking a boho/hippie style. But who knows? For these girls it depends on the day!

If Mary-Kate and Ashley Were the Queens of England

• Fashion adventure would be required of all loyal subjects.
• “Brother for Sale” would be the new national anthem.
• Helen Mirren would have starred in New York Minute.
• There wouldn’t be any more big hats at Ascot — MK and Ash would disappear under them.
• Prince Harry and Prince William wouldn’t have to fight over a girl anymore. (I do suggest Harry goes for MK and Wills for Ash — it’s a better fit for all around!)
• The Royal Family wouldn’t have to worry about the girls being gold-diggers or fame-hunters.
• Buckingham Palace would be completely outfitted in the mary-kateandashley furniture collection.
• Mary-Kate and Ashley would hire Dylan and Cole Sprouse as the “official royal dog walkers”.
