Mary-Kate Olsen is No Poor Little Rich Girl

Parade magazine published an article this month titled “What People Earned” and it looked at the incomes of several celebrities in 2007. Mary-Kate Olsen popped up on the list, with an income of $17 million dollars–just a little less than Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.
Oprah topped the list with $260 million. Not surprising.
What is surprising, or just confusing, is that MK was on the list but Ashley wasn’t. Did acting in Weeds and The Wackness put Mary-Kate over the top?
Or are the finanical benefits of starring in films and movies easier to calculate than exactly how much all of the Olsens’s combined projects, like Dualstar, the Row and Elizabeth & James, make for them individually. It’s safe to say, I think, that Ash is more involved in the fashion aspect of their work, but it’s probably hard to hypothetically allocate income earnings that way.
What makes this even more interesting is all the recent tabloid speculation about MK and Ash’s fights over their fortune. Regardless, they are super hard-working ladies who deserve every penny!
That’s what I was wondering! I know MK has gotten a bit more exposure lately but I didn’t think it was enough to warrant Ashley being so far behind that she was not even included on this list!

It’s weird that Ash is not on the list but I cannot believe they fight over their fortune. Just take a look at the pics that jj sent.
