Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are Powerful

In Touch Weekly has named Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen the most powerful sisters in Hollywood, thanks to their billion-dollar, multimedia empire that spans books, DVDs, music, furniture, make-up, jewelry and three fashion lines.

Rounding out the list were Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears, Beyonce and Solange Knowles, Hilary and Haylie Duff, Paris & Nicky Hilton, Venus & Serena Williams, Lindsay and Ali Lohan, Ashley and Jennifer Tisdale, and the Kardashians.

What do the Kardashians even do? How are Beyonce and Solange so high? Does Solange even do anything other than be Beyonce’s sister? It’s certainly an interesting and arbitrary list. If it wasn’t so Hollywood-centric, Venus and Serena would be much higher and the Tisdales and Kardasiahns would be much lower. But that’s just what I think. What about you?
