Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are gearing up for winter with their November hip picks. MK is most thankful for hope, and Ashley’s thankful for change. Both are also thankful for their favorite concert venues–MK like the United Palace Theatre, whereas Ashley’s a fan of Madison Square Garden.

Both can’t live without their favorite pair of denim jeans. Mary-Kate loves Current/Elliott and Ashley is never without her Earnest Sewn pair. As for your own fashion choices, Ashley wants you to know that “less is more” and Mary-Kate wants you to “take risks and have fun.” Finally, their drink of the moments-Mary-Kate is guzzling Vita Coco coconut water and Ashley can’t get enough of english breakfast tea.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s hip picks have become a semi-regular thing lately. They don’t seem to be monthly anymore. However, there are hip picks for October!

This month, MK’s fall fashion must is plaid. Ashley wants to go for a classic look, pairing lots of layers with a blazer. Their current handbags of the moment are the Chloe Paratay bag for Mary-Kate and the Accordion Devi Kroell for Ashley. Sleep is the best beauty tip MK can give you, whereas Ashley thinks their new Paper Me Pretty products are the way to go for instant on-the-go touch-ups!

If you thought you knew everything about the girls, you were wrong. This month, they reveal a secret passion. MK’s all about cooking and Ashley collects vintage fashion magazines. Finally, their fall footwear of choice is lace-up books for MK and peep toe booties for Ashley.

The Hip Picks are back! I really missed them last month!

To finish off summer right, Mary-Kate suggests vacationing places the paparazzi can’t find her, whereas Ashley suggests Greece. I wonder why, Ashley?! The must read to take with you? MK will be reading V Magazine and Ashley will be reading Vogue and Purple.

If you can’t take a vacation, kick back, relax and watch the Olympics. MK’s going to be watching equestrian, and Ashley won’t take her eyes off the 200 meter in track & field.

And we can’t have Hip Picks without fashion choices. Mary-Kate’s accessory of the moment are Proenza Schouler sunglasses and Ashley’s are gladiator sandals.

And to finish the Hip Picks off, neither girl can wait for the launch of Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth & James. Remember, you can preorder it at Intermix!

It’s nearly the middle of July and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have yet to publish their Hip Picks for July. They were late in June, too, which makes me wonder if the girls are done with the Hip Picks for good.

This month, however, they did do a “10 Summer Things We’re Sweet On” feature that might have replaced the Hip Pick feature. But I’m not sure.

I loved the Hip Picks and hope this is just a missed month, and the feature isn’t gone forever. What about you?

It’s birthday month for Mary-Kate and Ashley and summer is nearly here! To start of summer right, the girls have compiled their June hip picks for you!

Mary-Kate suggests watching National Lampoon’s Vacation while Ashley would rather munch popcorn while watching Don’t Tell Mom the Baby-sitter is Dead.

To be fashion-forward this summer, Mary-Kate suggests picking up Elizabeth & James’s Dazed demin shorts. Ashley prefers the Bardot pant. I’m sure you can find room for both in your wardrobe.

Ashley’s last purchase was vintage furniture whereas MK’s was studded Minnetonkas. But MK’s current obsession of the moment is Beverly Hills 90210 on DVD and Ashley’s is Annie Hall. Maybe that explains her menswear look at the CFDA Awards?

To end the summer theme right, MK listens to 90s pick Automatic for the People by REM, but Ashley spins Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morrisette.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen posted their hip picks for the month of May on their official site.

If you want to take the girls out to lunch in NYC, make sure you take MK to Grey Dog and Ashley to The Spotted Pig. The girls are watching American Idol, and it’s all about the Davids for them. MK is into David Cook whereas Ashley is cheering for David Archuleta.

If you want to hang out with them on a Satruday night, expect to be dancing up a storm at Mary-Kate’s. After that, you can always head to Ashley’s, where she’ll be hosting a dinner party for all her pals. When they head to the spa, MK always goes for the deep tissue massage and Ashley has a facial.

As for their spring make-up must-have, MK suggests mary-kateandashley lip gloss trio and Ash chooses YSL highligter.

Better late than never! Mary-Kate and Ashley posted their April Hip Picks on their official site today. As for movies, MK is into Shine a Light on IMAX while Ash will purchase popcorn for Baby Mama starring Amy Poehler.

They also take this month’s hip picks to tell us their favorite female designer. Mary-Kate loves the punk stylings of Vivenne Westwood whereas Ashley prefers the queen of the wrap dress, Dian Von Furstenberg. Ashley would look great in everything Furstenberg does, so it’s a good choice!

If you want to buy the girls flowers this spring, make sure you get white roses for MK and peonies and cherry blossoms for Ashley.

Mary-Kate keeps her skin silky smooth with Pat Wexler’s line of products, but Ashley prefers Darphins’ gentler stuff.

And what are the girls up to right now? MK is shopping vintage for her apartment and Ashley starts everyday with some yoga.
