Ashley Looking for Store Space, Mary-Kate Returns from Dubai

Ashley Olsen was spotted scouting out store space near the Maxfields on Melrose in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. Could it be she and MK are looking to open an Elizabeth & James flagship store?
If so, I think opening it in LA instead of NYC is an interesting choice. But then, it is a more celebrity-oriented appeal with a wider audience in mind than the row. The LA fashion scene is very happening right now and it makes sense to place Elizabeth & James amongst that.
Ashley was dressed very down for the event, donning jeans and a beige sweater. See the photos here.
Meanwhile, Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted at the JFK airport, returning from Dubai on Tuesday. She was wearing an oversized aquamarine sweater and looked exhausted. She should be–Dubai is over 5,000 miles from NYC.
